An investigation has been launched after a girl was "scratched" by a "dangerously out of control" dog in Stevenage.
Between 5.15pm and 5.25pm on Saturday (August 15), a young girl was reportedly jumped up at and scratched by a Pitbull-type dog.
The girl sustained cuts during the incident near Shilling End and the dog is understood to have been off its lead.
The dog owner was described as a Black man, of slim build and short in height wearing a black top, black shorts, black bucket hat and black sunglasses.
