A section of the A1(M) will be closed tonight (Monday, July 20) due to roadworks.
The A1(M) southbound will be closed between Junction 10 and Junction 8 from 9pm tonight until 5am tomorrow.
This is so that reconstruction / renewal of the road can be carried out on behalf of National Highways.
If you are travelling north, be advised that the A1(M) northbound Junction 15 exit slip road will be closed during the same time period so that horticulture cutting and planting can be completed.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area if at all possible, and to seek an alternative route.
