Police have recovered a large quantity of cannabis after it was discovered by a member of the public in Stevenage.
Officers were contacted on Saturday (July 4) after the discovery of a bag of the class B drug and drug paraphernalia.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "Cannabis is illegal to possess, use, or supply while its supply is also often linked to a range of criminality and exploitation.
"This seizure has removed a significant amount of illegal drugs from our streets and demonstrates the ongoing commitment to tackling drug-related activity in the community."
They added: "We would like to thank the member of the public for their vigilance and for reporting their concerns."
