A luxury train carrying passengers to Scotland is set to pass through Hertfordshire next month.
The Midland Pullman locomotive will be pulling the Edinburgh Christmas Pullman service to the Scottish capital on Friday, December 19.
It will be making a number of stops in Hertfordshire along the way, starting in Potters Bar at 6.20am, followed by Stevenage at 6.50am, Letchworth at 7.05am and Royston at 7.15am.
The service will also be making the return journey, stopping at Royston at 9.45pm, Letchworth at 9.55pm, Stevenage at 10.10pm and Potters Bar at 10.40pm.
The Midland Pullman services offers luxury travel for customers, with the website reading: "Reminiscent of the bygone days when luxury rail travel was the given norm for some, the Midland Pullman evokes 'de luxe' travel in every way.

The Midland Pullman originally operated as an express passenger service operating between London St Pancras and Manchester Central from 1960 to 1966.
