After opening in August, a Stevenage restaurant has now applied to serve alcohol on its premises.
Smoke BBQ in the Old Town has submitted an application for the retail sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises, from noon until 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday, and from noon until 11pm on Friday to Saturday.
The restaurant is a pop-up barbecue and smokehouse at 84 High Street, complete with a beer garden and open kitchen.
After opening on August 9 this year, 'pit boss' Charlie Hoar said: "Enjoy a festival vibe with a relaxed, modern twist.

"Savour the best smoked ribs, brisket and pulled pork that make our pop-up a standout destination."
Food, which includes smash burgers and barbecue platters, is served from noon until 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from noon until 6pm on Sundays.
On TripAdvisor, the smokehouse is rated 5/5 ranking in 22nd place out of all Stevenage eateries with reviewers praising the "friendly staff" and its "quality and price".
