Students at Letchworth's St Francis’ College are celebrating their A-level results today - with over quarter of all grades at A*.
The Year 13 leavers celebrated with over 25 per cent of all grades achieving A* and 53 per cent achieving A*-A.
A spokesperson for the school said: "We are so proud of the achievements of each and every student, but especially all those who achieved A*-A across the board."
Those were:
- Jaskeerat - Four A*s, is going on to study politics & economics at the London School of Economics.
- Tiffany - two A*s and two As, is going to study medicine at Kings College London
- Christa - one A* and two As, is going to study medicine at the University of Nottingham.
- Sophia - two A*s and two As, will be taking up her place at the University of Exeter to study psychology.
- Ilinca - two A*s and one A, plans to study sport & exercise science at Loughborough University
- Ella - two A*s and one A, is heading for the University of Leeds to study English literature
- Hannah - two A*s and one A, will be studying physiotherapy at the University of Southampton
The college's head of Sixth Form, Mrs Ruth Scott, said: "I am so proud of all our students and how hard they have worked to achieve this extraordinary set of results, which will move them closer to achieving their dreams.
"It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication they have given their learning. We all wish them the very best as they head off in exciting new directions."
The head of the college, Mr Nichols, said: "I’m so delighted for our students celebrating their individual successes, particularly in light of the fact this year the grading of A-levels has returned to pre-pandemic standards.
"The results they've achieved demonstrate not only just how hard they have worked, but also impressive resilience.
"I would like to thank all our staff who have supported them in their studies, and we look forward to seeing another set of impressive outcomes in the GCSE results next week."
