A veterinary nurse from Hertfordshire and her partner are set to complete a charity trek in honour of a friend who died of motor neurone disease.
Anna Samuels, who works at Davies Veterinary Specialists near Hitchin, and her partner Paul will take on the Peak District Ultra Challenge on July 6.
They hope to complete the 25km trek through the Derbyshire countryside in around five hours, finishing at Bakewell.
Donations can be made via their Just Giving page.
The couple are fundraising for the Motor Neurone Disease Association to honour Paul's friend, Alex Cooke.
Ms Samuels said: "Sadly Paul lost his friend Alex to Motor Neurone Disease last year so we are fundraising in his memory.
"We hope you can help us to raise some funds to research, and hopefully help others, beat this awful disease."
