The North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) security tagged 26 bikes at a free event in Letchworth to deter bicycle thieves.
On hand to mark the bikes and discuss local issues, NPT PCSOs Jordan Bright and Phoebe Taylor also provided crime prevention advice related to bike safety at the event on June 8.
Security marking a bike can deter thieves, as a tagged bike is tougher to sell.
In addition, marked bikes can be returned to their owners more easily if stolen or lost.
PCSO Bright said: "It was great to meet so many people in Letchworth at the weekend and security mark so many bikes.
"Thank you to all that came to see us and we hope to see you out and about in our community soon."
