Visiting times for inpatient wards at Lister Hospital in Stevenage have been extended as part of wider changes to visiting rules across the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
Now, people can visit adult inpatients between 8am and 10pm, seven days a week, with a maximum of two visitors at a time.
Children can now have visitors between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week, but, due to a lack of available space on the Bluebell ward, only one parent can stay with their child overnight.
On the maternity unit, the curfew on re-entry has been removed, allowing nominated birth partners to stay with service users throughout the length of their stay.
