Three women navigate the challenges of womanhood in Low Level Panic, which is coming to Hitchin's Queen Mother Theatre.
The play, by Clare McIntyre, follows twenty-something flatmates Mary, Jo and Celia in 1988 as they confront societal pressures, body image insecurities and the enduring bonds of sisterhood.
A description of the play reads: "McIntyre's sharp wit and insightful storytelling illuminate the resilience and solidarity that define their friendship, offering a compelling tribute to the profound connections that sustain us in the face of adversity."

Clare McIntyre's play premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 1988, and won the Samuel Beckett Award.

Considered a 1980s precursor to Fleabag, The Queen Mother Theatre is proud to present this "vibrant, funny and moving" play about friendship and the challenges young women face on a daily basis.
