With the Easter Bank Holiday on the horizon, Stevenage Borough Council has announced changes to bin collection schedules over the long weekend.
There will be no changes this week with bins still being collected on Good Friday, however the first week of April will be impacted.
With staff not working on Bank Holiday Monday (April 1), collections next week will be one day late, with normal service resuming on Monday, April 8.
The amended schedule is as follows:
Normal collection day – Revised collection day
Monday, April 1 - Tuesday, April 2
Tuesday, April 2 - Wednesday, April 3
Wednesday, April 3 – Thursday, April 4
Thursday, April 4 – Friday, April 5
Friday, April 5 - Saturday, April 6
The council has urged residents to take note of the new dates and remember to leave their bins out for collection by 7am on collection day.
