At some point between 10pm on Friday, January 26 and 1pm on Saturday, January 27, the wheel was stolen from a Volkswagen Golf on Leaves Spring in Shephall.

The offender propped the car onto wood, removed the rear wheel on the passenger side, and left the scene.

PC Carl Webster, of the Stevenage Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing. We’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting out of the ordinary in the area at the time.

“Additionally, if you have a doorbell cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage to assist our investigation.
