People flocked to Stevenage town centre on Saturday for the annual Christmas lights switch-on.
Singer Junior Andre performed a number of songs in front of a heaving crowd, before officially turning on the festive lights with Stevenage mayor Myla Arceno.
They were watched by Nala the Stevenage train station cat, whose antics have gone viral on social media.
As well as live music, there was a Christmas market to peruse, fair rides to enjoy, free face painting, a sensory station and Santa's grotto.
Councillor Arceno said: "What a fantastic event! Thank you to all who joined us. What a fabulous crowd and amazing performances!"
