Two Stevenage eateries have been named among OpenTable's list of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in the UK.
OpenTable is a booking website used by many restaurants across the UK, and their team have analysed over one million reviews from diners to create the list.
El Bar de Tapas and Lavish Bar & Grill, both in Stevenage Old Town, have made the list for 2023.
Lavish Bar & Grill focuses on Mediterranean-inspired dishes, transforming traditional meals by using new ingredients and marination techniques - the team behind it are planning to open a second site in Great Ashby soon.

El Bar de Tapas, meanwhile, offers a range of traditional, small Spanish dishes. A family-run business, it combines quality imported products with locally-sourced ingredients.
For Stevenage foodies who are happy to travel further afield for a romantic meal, Lussmanns in Berkhamsted found a spot among the top 100 too.
Situated in a listed building, Lussmanns prides itself on offering sustainable produce to its customers.
