A road in Baldock is currently closed after a heavy goods vehicle collided with a bridge this morning.

Police confirmed North Road was closed following the accident.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police said: "We are currently dealing with an incident where a HGV has collided with a bridge on North Road.

"We would ask you to please avoid the area at this time, as the road is closed."
