Police closed a section of the A1(M) today due to a crash on the southbound carriageway, close to Junction 7.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police said: "Police were called at around 12.33pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a red Vauxhall Corsa, a black Audi A6 and a white Hyundai IONIQ near to Junction 7 on the A1(M).
"Road closures were put in place while officers were dealing with the incident, due to oil debris on the road. The closures have now been lifted."
