A planning application has been approved that will see Shephall Dental Surgery’s existing one-storey extension demolished and replaced with a two-storey rear extension.

Plans submitted by Sabina Wadhwani were originally rejected on August 29 but after re-submission were approved on October 17.

The application officer, Linda Sparrow, has stated: "The proposed development is seeking to enlarge an existing health care provision on an unallocated site.

"The practice currently has a waiting list of 300 people needing NHS care but who cannot access services at this practice due to the shortfall in space and dental staff."

The full plan is available to view in full on the council's website.
