A Letchworth-based dance school is preparing to take centre stage at the grand final of the 'Can You Dance?' Super Convention.

Dancers from The Britton School of Performing Arts (BSPA) will perform on the main stage of the CYD? Super Convention in Liverpool on Saturday, October 14.

Earlier this year, 13 BSPA students competed in a CYD? regional heat in Norwich, which gained them their place in the final.

They have also been invited to perform an additional dance on the main stage, and 19 students have been working hard to prepare.

BSPA will be joining schools from across the UK as well as Malta, Spain, Dubai and Gibraltar.

As well as performing, they will have the chance to participate in masterclasses led by top dance teachers, including TV star Oti Mabuse.

BSPA principal Lynsey Britton said: "We are honoured and excited to be part of the CYD? Super Convention this year.

"Our dancers are working so hard to prepare for this incredible opportunity and we are so proud of them all.

"We can't wait to share their performances and experience on our social media pages.

"We are so grateful to BSPA teacher Kelly Mansfield for her wonderful choreography on both our routines."
