A nursery school in Hitchin, "where children have a wonderful time," has been rated outstanding by Ofsted.
York Road Nursery School continues to be rated outstanding by Ofsted.
In a report following an inspection in September, Ofsted said: "Children have a wonderful time. They are safe and happy because caring staff pay close attention to children’s individual needs.
"Every child gets the support they need to thrive.
"Children quickly become confident communicators. They sustain focus on highly engaging activities."

Headteacher Diane Frainer said: "We are so very proud of our school. We work passionately to provide an exciting and challenging environment that celebrates individuality.
"We identify the needs of each and every child and support them to develop their full potential."
