A child has been hospitalised after being involved in a crash with a car in Letchworth.
The incident took place at around 1.45pm this afternoon (Friday, September 15) in Ordelmere.
Hertfordshire police attended the scene, along with the East of England Ambulance Service and an air ambulance.
The road was closed, and the child was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Police were called at around 1.45pm today (Friday 15 September) following reports of a road traffic collision on Ordelmere, Letchworth Garden City.
"It is reported that a child and a car were involved in a collision.
"Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the ambulance and air ambulance service.
"The child was taken to hospital by land with minor injuries.
"The road is currently closed while enquiries continue, and officers remain at the scene."
