"Specialist tools" have been used during a theft in Danesgate, Stevenage.

An electric bike was stolen from the car park for Stevenage Leisure Centre between 7.05am and 6.30pm on Wednesday, September 6.

Hertfordshire police have now released a CCTV image of an individual that they would like to identify.

PC Chris Pickering said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward with information.

“We are releasing this image because we believe the individual pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have information to assist our investigation.

"Is this you, or do you recognise this person?”
