Class A and B drugs, a sword and a hunting knife have all been seized during a number of drug raids in Stevenage.

The warrants were conducted between Tuesday (September 5) and Friday (September 8) in addresses in Wisden Road, Broadwater Crescent, Hyde Green, Foxfield, Hadwell Close, Homestead Moat and Colestrete Close.

Three "local males" were arrested on suspicion of drug, weapon and proceeds of crime offences.

Detective Inspector Nick Rega said: “Our work to tackle drug related crime is ongoing and we will continue to target those who commit drug related crime in our town.

“The information we receive from members of the public is invaluable to us and I want to reassure local residents that we look into every report we receive.
