A section of the A507 near Arlesey and Stotfold will be closed this weekend to enable the installation of a new footbridge.

The road will be closed between the Stotfold Road and Hitchin Road roundabouts from 9pm on Friday, June 16 until 5am on Monday, June 19.

Over the weekend, a footbridge will be lifted and placed over the A507 to provide a pedestrian, cycling and equestrian link between Arlesey and Stotfold via Etonbury Wood.

Diversion signs will be in place during the road closure.

There are also continuing road closures and temporary traffic lights on Arlesey High Street. Three-way traffic signals will be in place until Friday, June 30, to implement a modified road layout and resurface the footpaths. A pedestrian route will be maintained at all times.
