A new café combining the flavours of Brazil with British classics has opened in the city centre.
Meadow Café, situated opposite Norwich Castle in Castle Meadow, welcomed its first customers last week following a two-month revamp of the site.
It is run by Kellen Carvallho and her husband Bafdo, who moved from Brazil to the UK in 2013.
She said: "It has been a great start so far and we have had more and more customers every day who have given lots of positive feedback.
"It is really exciting to be bringing the flavours of my home country and to share this with the people of Norwich.

Meadow Café has an extensive menu, ranging from hot baguettes to pastries such as sausage rolls and Portuguese custard tarts.
It also specialises in protein shakes which can serve as a meal replacement for those on the go.
And there are plans to expand the menu, adding Brazilian tapas dishes in the future.
The 33-year-old previously worked as a beauty therapist before starting her family in 2019.
But she is now following in her parents' footsteps, who have run restaurants in Portugal for a number of years.
She added: "They really helped support and inspire me to open the business.

"There was nothing here before, just the walls, so we did a lot of the decorating and building the counters ourselves.
"I hope the café will be a place for everyone where they can come and enjoy freshly made and healthy food to eat in or takeaway."
Meadow Café will open from 8.30am to 5pm on Monday to Saturday and has plans to open later in the summer.
