Planning applications submitted to Stevenage Borough Council suggest that another new restaurant could be coming soon to the town centre.

Two applications have been received in relation to 14 Queensway, which was previously home to a PDSA charity shop. Now, it could be set to welcome a Pepe's Piri Piri chicken restaurant.

The applications, submitted earlier this week, include floor plans for a restaurant with 30 seats.

The applications also include proposed opening hours of 11am until 11pm every day.

Pepe's Piri Piri is a chain, with 169 restaurants currently open across the UK. They also operate venues in the Republic of Ireland and the UAE.

Just last week, Stevenage Borough Council received planning applications for another new eatery in the town centre - a Greek restaurant called 'Pitta Hub'.
