An employer in Stevenage has been named as a 'most loved' organisation by the Sunday Times.

MBDA, located in the industrial estate, was one of 10 'very big' employers named among the 40 'most loved' organisations in a feature by the newspaper.

To qualify as a 'very big' employer, the organisation must have at least 2,000 employees.

The scores that determined which employers made it into the top 10 were derived from a detailed employee opinion survey, requiring a minimum response rate of 40 per cent  from current employees.

A spokesperson for MBDA said: "We are very happy that our people have shown that they love working here and we are exceptionally grateful to every employee that took the time to complete the survey.

"This achievement is reflective of the efforts we continuously make to ensure MBDA UK is an inclusive and rewarding employer of choice.

"Our commitments to wellbeing, the flexibility we allow our people through dynamic working, and our shared purpose in delivering the future of defence are just some of the reasons our people love coming to work every day."

It is not the first time that MBDA has been featured as an excellent employer, being named among Glassdoor's Best Places to Work in 2022, and Best Companies' Best Big Companies to Work For, also in 2022.

The company is currently recruiting, with 249 jobs available online, including many in Stevenage.
