Three teenagers have been arrested and three people were injured following an incident in Stevenage earlier this month.

On Monday, May 1, a group of males were reportedly involved in two separate physical altercations at King George V playing fields.

The incidents happened between 1.20pm and 1.40pm, with the first taking place near the entrance at Popple Way, and the second occurring next to the underpass opposite the swimming pool.

Three people were injured during the altercations - two teenagers and a man. The man and one of the teenagers sustained broken bones.

An extensive search was carried out, with assistance from the police helicopter, and two people were subsequently arrested. A third person was arrested the following day.

Two of those arrested are 15 years old, while the third is a 16-year-old. They are all male, and all have been bailed while enquiries continue.
