A major road in Stevenage which was closed for much of yesterday (May 10) due to flooding has now reopened.
Martins Way, between the roundabout for Canterbury Way/Grace Way and Gunnels Wood Road/A602, was closed all day yesterday after heavy downpour on Tuesday evening.
The road reopened last night.

A number of areas in the town became flooded after Tuesday's storm - for which the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning - including London Road and Eastbourne Avenue.
Across Hertfordshire firefighters dealt with 30 incidents in a two-hour period.
In one incident they rescued a person from water following a car accident.
In others the service was called on to deal with flooding, both inside and outside of properties.
The incidents were reported to be concentrated between Ware and Harpenden.
