Chantry Place has transformed into Chantry Palace to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

If you want to feel like royalty and enjoy a photo opportunity to mark the celebrations, head to Chantry Place from now until Monday, May 8 to sit on a throne with a royal backdrop. The throne is located on the lower ground floor by Langleys.

There is also a display of five large crowns decorated by students from local schools decorating Chantry Place.

Students from Free School Norwich, The Hamlet Centre, Magdalen Gates Primary, Lionwood Nursery and Primary, and Fairhaven C.E.V.A Primary School created the crowns using a variety of textures, colours and materials.

The crowns can be found on the upper ground floor on the walkway between H&M and Whistles, Hobbs and Phase Eight.

Head to Whistles, Hobbs and Phase Eight to pick up gorgeous occasionwear, browse Hollister for beachwear and shop in Zara, H&M, River Island and Levi’s to pick up those summer fashion essentials.

Pop to Boots or Superdrug to replenish or update your skin care products, grab your SPF, choose summer lip colours and browse products that can help you create glowy summer looks. Once you’re all shopped out, take a pitstop and enjoy a coffee at cafés including Costa, BB’s, Caffe Nero or Hotel Chocolat.

And why not have a meal in one of the delicious restaurants on Chantry Square? From GBK and Byron to Wagamama and The Real Greek, there is something for everybody to enjoy! Or if you’re looking for a sweet treat, Chantry Place has Bellyboos, Shaake, and Krispy Kreme.
