Two men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a man was stabbed at a property in Letchworth's Western Way.

Police were called at 10.46pm on Wednesday, April 19, to reports of a man being assaulted on the road in Grange Estate.

Officers and the ambulance service attended, and located a man with suspected stab wounds. He was taken to hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Two 21-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of GBH and remain in police custody.

"Police were called at 10.46pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 19), to reports of a man who had been assaulted at an address on Western Way in Letchworth," read a statement.

"Officers and the ambulance service attended the scene to find a man with suspected stab wounds.

"He was taken to hospital for treatment and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

"Two 21-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of GBH and are in police custody at this time.
