A national independent insurance broker has expanded by opening a new office in Norwich.

Aston Lark has continued its regional expansion by opening its city office in Palace Street on March 29, just a stone's throw from Norwich Cathedral.

The firm now has 59 offices, including Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich, and recently opened new locations in the Thames Valley and South Wales.

Currently in the office are director James Monkhouse and sales director Katherine Campbell. Both join the business from Alan Boswell.

Mr Monkhouse said: "I’m delighted to be joining a business with a first-class reputation in the market amongst insurers and clients, with employee inclusion and ownership central to its culture.

"I’m excited by the opportunity to launch the Aston Lark brand in Norwich and the surrounding area, and to create opportunities for local talent to develop and excel."

The firm employs around 1,000 people nationwide.

The expansion has created a number of employment opportunities for the Norwich office but Mr Monkhouse said the number of positions is determined by the quality and quantity of applications.
