One of the most important points to consider if you have a problem or issue is to act quickly and get advice.

In our experience here at Citizens Advice North Hertfordshire, the earlier you can address an issue, the better the outcome.

Making that first contact with us – whether you are struggling with the cost of living crisis, need help with benefits, debt, housing, legal issues, and much more, means that we can start to help you.

But what’s the best way to contact us – what suits you best?

The clients we see from across North Hertfordshire, whether it is from our towns such as Royston, Baldock, Letchworth, or Hitchin or from the villages, are all different.

From clients working flexible hours to those with caring responsibilities, to clients who would struggle to come into a Citizens Advice office, we offer a wide range of points of contact so you can get the advice you need; and if you have internet access, you can see what we offer at our website.

If it’s easier for you to visit us face-to-face, we are here for you. We have new advice sessions in the centre of Hitchin on a Tuesday morning, at St. Mary’s Church House.

In Royston, we are at the Town Hall on Monday and Wednesday mornings. We are also at Melbourn Hub on a Wednesday morning.

Our Letchworth office in Station Road is open 9.30am to 4pm Monday Tuesday Thursday and 9.30 to 12noon on a Wednesday.

Call us direct at 01462 689801 and leave a message, and we will quickly get back to you, or call the Hertfordshire Citizens Advice Line.

Thanks to Hertfordshire County Council, the Advice Line is now open later in the evenings and on the weekend and is available between 10am to 9pm Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 8pm Thursday and Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Saturday.

Whether you want to email your inquiry, explore our extensive self-help guides, book a video call, need British Sign Language support, or any other assistance to get your issues resolved, visit our website northhertscab.org.uk or leave us a message at 01462 689801.

However you choose to contact us, Citizen Advice North Hertfordshire is your local charity ready to give free and impartial advice to all residents in North Herts, so please share your issues or concerns today.
