A Letchworth care home has been officially opened following a major refurbishment carried out by new management.
Last Thursday, White House Care Home in Gillison Close was reopened by North East Herts MP Sir Oliver Heald.
The event was attended by residents, relatives, staff, healthcare professionals and members of the community and was an opportunity to celebrate the new care home.
Attendees of the event were treated to canapés and glasses of fizz as well as the opportunity to look around the home.

The home offers person-centred residential, dementia and nursing care for up to 50 residents and has been "designed with the residents in mind".
Manni Makoni, the home manager, said: "It has been so exciting seeing the development of the home and being a part of the commissioning team and there was no greater moment than when we opened our doors in November and welcomed in our first residents.
"There has been so much interest in the home from both residents and staff alike and the buzz around the home is infectious.
"The local community has also been so welcoming and it’s been great to forge new partnerships and to ensure that our residents remain integrated within their local community."
A plaque to commemorate the opening of the home was unveiled by Rt Hon Sir Oliver Heald, along with the cutting of a ribbon and cake, whereby he was assisted by some of the residents who live at White House.
White House Care Home was acquired by Priory CC5 Ltd in 2022 and soon went under a complete renovation.
This came after the home was placed into special measures in 2019 while under the management of Medical Resources Worldwide Ltd.
The subsequent refurb aimed to provide "a boutique feel, with 50 en-suite bedrooms, a café and an array of dining rooms".
