The Settlement Players - based in Letchworth Garden City - are turning 100 and are kicking off their centenary year with a production of timeless classic The Importance of Being Earnest.
Oscar Wilde's most popular play has been delighting audiences since it was first performed in London's West End in 1894.
The hero of the play is Ernest, the irresistable bad boy of London society who everyone is in love with - the problem is, Ernest doesn't actually exist.
And so the fun begins, as two pairs of young lovers try to untangle a web of lies and win the approval of the formidable Lady Bracknell.
Director Samantha Powell said: "The play is funny but also thought provoking.

"It was written during an era when many of the social, political, and economic structures of the day were experiencing change, and as such resonates loudly with life for us today in the 21st century."
The Importance of Being Earnest runs from Thursday, March 9 to Saturday, March 11 at the Little Theatre, Letchworth Settlement.
Performances each night are at 7.45pm, with an additional matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
