The line-up for the next Jazz Up! event at Hitchin's Club 85 has been announced.

The show on Saturday, February 25 will feature bassist and composer Nim Sadot and the Joe English Trio.

Originally from Israel, Nim has recently released his third album 'FELIX'.

His band features Nick Walters on trumpet, Hamish Balfour on keys, Laurie Lowe on drums and Alan Short on saxophone and side flute.

Nim's music is described as "jazz, fusion, funk and progressive blended with virtuoso playing", influenced by Miles Davis, E.S.T, Mediterranean music, Marcus Miller and Jaco Pastorius.

The support act, rising star pianist Joe English, will lead his trio for the whole season of Jazz Ups as part of their youth jazz initiative.
