Catherine Bennett, community engagement manager at Citizens Advice North Herts invites you to support their upcoming music quiz fundraiser.

Fancy a night out where you can have some fun, eat super-tasty food from Vutie Beets, test your musical knowledge with friends – and raise money for charity?

If you want to get your charitable activities kick-started for 2023, get the gang together and book your tickets for the Citizens Advice North Herts Music Quiz on Friday, February 24 (7pm start) at Knights Templar School in Baldock.

This event always sells out and lots of teams return, so move fast if you and your friends, family or work colleagues want to join us. Everyone on your team plays a vital role in contributing to your quiz success.

With 50 songs played, and questions evenly balanced over the decades with hits from the 1940s to 2023, whether you’re a sixties fan, a nineties ninja or you’re streaming Miley, Taylor, and Miguel on Spotify, you’ll need this music knowledge across the years.

So, will your team claim victory? Get your team together and join us. We know there are plenty of general quizzes and pub quizzes, but music quizzes are rarer and make for a special night.

Who is Citizens Advice North Herts? We are an independent charity providing impartial advice to residents across North Herts and South Cambs.

Many people do not realise that Citizens Advice organisations up and down the country are all independent charities, we rely on donations and external funding to provide our service. And with the cost of living crisis, our services are in demand more than ever.

Here are the details; we have a licensed bar with an excellent range of drinks, and food is kindly being provided by Letchworth’s legendary vegan restaurant – Vutie Beets, based in The Wynd.

We also have live music, and a raffle, and if your team wins, you will also each receive the much-prized Citizen Advice North Herts winners medal.

Food is included and you can have up to eight team members but must buy your tickets in advance of the event so we can manage capacity, book now by emailing communications@northhertscab.org.uk and we can arrange a bank transfer.

You can also book online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/citizens-advice-north-hertfordshire but please be aware there is a booking fee.

It’s a family night, so tickets for adults are £10 each, and those under 18s are £5 each.

So, let’s have fun at the music quiz and raise much-needed funds for Citizens Advice North Herts. It’s a win-win, and your team might also win our prized medals too!
