The ladies' section at Royston Golf Club donated a cheque for more than £2,000 to Dementia UK, after a year of fundraising.
Last year's captain Tracey Parsons handed over the cheque to the charity's ambassador Janette Burt on Thursday, January 26.
The £2,200 donation will go towards the funding for Admiral nurses, who work alongside those caring for people with dementia.
Janette also explained that Royston is fortunate enough to have its own dedicated Admiral nurse in place.
She thanked the Royston Golf Club ladies' section "for their terrific efforts for the monies raised".
Tracey chose Dementia UK as her nominated charity for her year as section captain, and raised money through a mix of fundraising events, raffles and donations.
