Sir Oliver Heald, the MP for North East Hertfordshire, has signed the Holocaust Educational Trust's Book of Commitment.

The book is in honour of those who were murdered during the Holocaust, and pays tribute to the Holocaust survivors who continue to educate young people today on the genocide.

Holocaust Memorial Day is on January 27 every year, marking the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and death camp in 1945. People across the UK and the world come together to remember the horrors of the Holocaust.
