Two rings and baby toys were among items stolen during a burglary in Letchworth on Thursday, December 22.

Detectives are investigating the burglary in Pixmore Way, and have released images of the stolen rings in a bid to trace them.

The burglary occurred between midday and 5pm on December 22, with entry to the property forced.

In addition to the rings, other items were stolen including a mobile phone and baby toys which had been bought as Christmas presents.

Detective Constable Beth Stevens, from Hertfordshire police's Local Crime Unit, said: “Understandably the victims were left extremely upset by what happened. Burglary is devastating at any time of year, but even more so at Christmas.

“Our enquiries are continuing at this time and, as part of the ongoing investigation, we’re releasing images of two stolen rings in the hope that someone may recognise them. Have you seen them advertised for sale anywhere?

“We’d also be keen to hear from anyone who may have any other information about the burglary. Even something seemingly insignificant could prove key.” Anyone with information is asked to please email
