A man has had his bank card and cash stolen from him in Hitchin town centre.
At around 1pm on Wednesday, December 21, the victim was using a cash machine at HSBC in Market Place when he was approached by another man, who distracted him and stole his bank card and cash.
The card was later used at another machine to withdraw several hundred pounds before it was cancelled.
Police have now released images of a person they want to identify in connection with the incident.
PCSO Cynthia Combe, of the Hitchin Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We are releasing this image because we believe the man pictured may have been in the area and could assist with our enquiries.
“If you recognise this person, or have any further information, please email me at cynthia.combe@herts.police.uk."
