One person was rescued from a vehicle after a crash in a road near the city centre.
Emergency services were called to St Martins Lane, Norwich, just before 11pm last night (December 31).
Fire crews from Earlham and Sprowston helped release a casualty by using hydraulic rescue equipment.
The scene was made safe just before 11.30pm.
