Police were called this morning (Thursday, December 22) to reports of a suspected burglary in Stevenage's Old Town.
It was reported that the McColl's store on the High Street had been broken into at around 5.25am.
Glass and bottles had been smashed and police officers are establishing whether anything was taken.
Enquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are urged to contact the police.
