A man in his 20s has sustained "serious injuries" and remains in hospital following a crash in Stevenage on Friday. 

At around 12.45am on December 16, a white Volkswagen Caddy was driving along Cavendish Road when it collided with a parked lorry.

The driver of the Volkswagen, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Sergeant Mark Casey, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “We are investigating the circumstances of the collision and I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who might have caught the collision, or the events leading up to it, on dash cam.

"If you were driving through the area at the time and have a dash cam fitted to your vehicle, please check it and get in contact if you spot something that might help us.
