A teenage boy suffered a leg injury after a fight in Stevenage town centre.

The fight took place at around 4pm on Friday, November 25, near JD Sports, and ended outside Poundland.

Witness reports so far suggest that the fight broke out after an argument started within the group, which resulted in a 17-year-old boy receiving an injury to his leg.

Investigating officer Detective Holly Dawson said: "We need to get to the bottom of what exactly has happened and unfortunately the fight itself was not captured on CCTV, so we are hoping that someone may have filmed the incident or saw it unfold.

"The town centre was very busy at the time, so we are urging anyone with any information to get in contact.

"If you would feel more comfortable remaining anonymous, you can share information with Crimestoppers via their anonymous reporting system. This information is then shared with us, but the source will never be identified to us."
