Christmas band St Agnes Fountain will be headlining at Hitchin Folk Club to welcome the festive season.
The band, comprised of Chris Leslie and multi award-winning duo Chris While and Julie Matthews first formed in 2001 along with former member David Hughes, who left in 2020 to concentrate on his solo career.
Chris, Chris and Julie will be keeping the Christmas 'Aggie' spirit alive and touring as a trio to celebrate 21 years together, with a mix of new material and old Aggie classics.
Their latest album, Night of a Million Stars, was released in time for last year's December tour, with nine new songs from the band.
Chris Leslie is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, who is known for his work with folk rock band Fairport Convention.
Julie Matthews is on vocals, piano, guitar, accordian and gazouki, and Chris While performs vocals, guitar, bodhran, dulcimer, banjo, darbuka and percussion.
Chris While and Julie celebrated 25 years as a duo in 2019.
The trio will headline at Hitchin Folk Club at the Cricket Pavilion from 6.45pm on Sunday, December 11.
Tickets are £18 for Folk Club members and £20 for non-members.
