A new Chinese takeaway opened its doors in Hatfield last weekend, with the hopes of becoming a large chain in the UK.

Noodle King - a small takeaway chain located at 27 Salisbury Square, Old Hatfield - held a grand opening on Sunday, November 20.

Manager Michelle Lee said: “Since the grand opening, business has been very good, especially on the day of the opening, over the weekend it was very busy. But the food is really good so obviously we are very popular already.

Another Chinese restaurant had been based at the site prior to the Noodle King coming to Hatfield and taking over.

Noodle King hopes to have success by "doing things a little differently", including hosting events such as a Cutest Dog Competeition where the winners will get £100 vouchers.

The owner of the chain, Steven Zhou, has seven other Noodle King restaurants located in and out of Hertfordshire with a new one opening in Milton Keynes in January. Welwyn Hatfield Times: Noodle King's various takeaway dishes that have already gained popularity.Noodle King's various takeaway dishes that have already gained popularity.
