A woman has reported being sexually assaulted in a supermarket car park in Stevenage.
The incident occured in the Asda car park at around 6.45pm on Tuesday, October 18.
It was reported that while the victim was putting shopping into the boot of her car, a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her by touching her inappropriately and then left the scene.
A CCTV image of a man police would like to identify has been released.
Detective Constable Quinlan, who is investigating, said: “This was a scary incident for the victim, and we are doing all we can to locate the suspect.
"We are releasing this CCTV image as we believe the man pictured was in the area at the time of the incident and may have important information that could assist with our investigation.”
