A documentary on the murder of a Letchworth woman is set to air on Sky Crime this week.

The final episode in season six of Killer In My Village will feature the investigation into the death of 26-year-old Nicki Collingbourne, who was killed by her half-sister Yvonne Caylor.

Caylor, from Hitchin, struck Nicki over the head with a chicken-shaped casserole pot on May 23, 2016, while disguising herself as a man using items bought in a Baldock fancy dress shop.

Nicki's body was found in her Letchworth flat in Ivel Court the following day by members of her family.

Caylor was given a life sentence and must serve a minimum of 20 years after a jury unanimously found her guilty.

In a family tribute at the time, Nicki’s niece Leanne Collingbourne said: “Yvonne has taken Nicki away from so many people and she’s also stolen her future.

“Nicki would have made a great mum one day and that was what she was looking forward to in life."

The documentary will air on Sky Crime at 10pm tomorrow (November 2).
