A bank card was stolen and transactions were made in Hitchin earlier this month - and police are now appealing for help to identify a woman they believe can assist in the investigation.

On Thursday, October 6, between 11.15am and 12.10pm a bank card was stolen in High Street and transactions were subsequently made.

PCSO Cynthia Combe, who is investigating, said: “We would like to identify this woman as we believe she may have important information that could help with our inquiries.
