A man has received a suspected stab wound after being assaulted in a Burger King restaurant in Stevenage.

Police were called at 5.08pm on Saturday, October 22, to the Roaring Meg retail park.

Upon Herts police's arrival, the individual had made his own way to hospital for treatment.

The wound has been described as "non-life threatening".

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police said: "Enquiries into the incident are continuing at this time.
